We are seeking volunteers to assist with cleanup\, set up\, provide standby assistance \, and run errands for vendors throughout the event. Your support is invaluable in helping us create a safe and supportive environment for attendees to engage with art as a means of healing and resilience. \nEvent will take place at multiple locations. DESCRIPTION:What to wear: close-toed shoes\, bring a water bottle\, and wear clothes that you are not afraid to get dirty. \nProvided: Reusable gloves\, trash bags\, vests\, hand picker tools\, dumpster\, port-a potty\, and brush removal \nAgenda for event: \n\nVolunteers are greeted\, provided with equipment\, introduced to the neighborhood and important history and context offered by local nonprofit and community partners.\nEarth 365 provides safety training and education on what is recyclable and compostable.\nThe volunteers are then divided into groups of up to 8 people led by zone captains to tackle identified problem areas or littered routes.\nEveryone returns after 3 hours to celebrate together with tasty treats by local chefs.\nThere will be a circle talk to discuss illegal dumping after the clean-up. Topics will include ending illegal dumping\, transforming trash to art\, and next action steps.\nWe will be promoting free dumpster access to area residents to clear out any large items that may otherwise end up illegally dumped.
