DESCRIPTION:In March\, the Network hosted a Trauma-Informed Systems of Care training\, conducted by Goal-Driven Counseling. After tremendous feedback for that training\, the Network is hosting Part II on June 28. \nPart II focuses on converting what was learned in Part I into actionable items. \nIn Part I\, attendees explored and examined the importance of culturally aware approaches to trauma\, self-care and burnout prevention. This panel will give children’s mental health providers and funders an opportunity to hear directly from youth about what matters most when it comes to their mental health. \nThe panelists include William Schreiber\, a Kirkwood High School senior and member of Work2BeWell’s National Student Advisory Council; Legacy Jackson\, a freshman at Cardinal Ritter College Prep and founder of Little Legacies nonprofit; Alex Zhang\, a junior at Francis Howell High School and member of Asian American Civic Scholars; and Ebony Hutchinson\, Executive Director of The Community Reach. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Terry Harris\, co-founder of The Collective STL and executive director of The Legacy Center.
