A Night to Honor the Direct Services Providers Making A Difference in the Network.
A Night With the Stars is the Community Impact Network yearly event where we recognize and honor the invaluable contributions of direct service providers within the Network. These remarkable individuals are the unsung heroes who tirelessly work to forge genuine connections with the residents of our community.
The night is fully dedicated to the frontline heroes. It won’t be a night to discuss the organizations they represent, the executives who lead them, or the boards that govern them. Instead, it is an evening dedicated to celebrating and shining a light on the individuals who are the true luminaries of service in the Network. Their dedication and compassion are the driving forces behind positive change, and the Community Impact Network is excited to acknowledge their outstanding efforts.
Award Categories
Each year, we honor nominees for their work and service in the following categories:
- Compass Award – For the listener who helps others find their way. This individual is attentive and compassionate, helping others find direction in times of uncertainty. This person’s steady presence and thoughtful guidance offer clarity and inspire courage and empowerment.
- Community Collaboration Award – This Collaborator builds meaningful, effective partnerships. They exemplify the spirit of collaboration by working hand-in-hand with fellow providers, organizations, and community members to create stronger, more connected support systems.
- Equity Builder Award – Recognizes outstanding commitment to advancing equity and solutions by actively working to dismantle barriers and create inclusive opportunities.
- Emerging Changemaker Award – An Emerging Changemaker is an individual aged 18 or under who is making a positive impact in the 24:1 and laying the foundation for a brighter future for their peers. Nominees must attend school or live within the 24:1 boundary; a parent/guardian cannot nominate their child.
2025 Theme: Celebrating Generational Growth
The theme for our ceremony this year was Celebrating Generational Growth. Generational Growth is a vision for a thriving community where every generation is connected, supported, and empowered. It begins with investing in youth, providing them with the mentorship, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed. Yet it does not stop there. True generational growth recognizes that each stage of life has the power to influence and inspire the next. The wisdom of elders, the leadership of adults, the creativity of young adults, and the energy of youth all work together in a continuous, harmonious cycle of support.
When we invest in the youngest members of our community, we spark potential and create leaders who will one day guide others. When we honor and include the voices of adults and elders, we preserve knowledge, deepen connection, and strengthen the community’s foundation. This balanced exchange, where each generation gives and receives, is what builds equity, creates opportunity, and fosters a culture of belonging that lasts for decades.
