The Network received a certificate for Beyond the Backpack
During the Normandy Schools Collaborative (NSC) Joint Executive Board Meeting, on September 8, the Community Impact Network, along with partners Beyond Housing and Sneakers with Soul, received Certificates of Appreciation for their contributions to the 2026 Beyond the Backpack event.
NSC’s Director of Communications, Chris Trahan, presented the award to staff from the three organizations. In his remarks, he shared “Beyond the Backpack helps our students start off strong for the new year, ready to learn on day one.” He also expressed gratitude on behalf of the district for the hundreds of volunteers who came together in support of NSC’s students and families.
