Youth Voices: A Panel on Mental Health

Description

Join The Legacy Center on May 23 for a special Mental Health Awareness Month event! “Youth Voices: A Panel on Mental Health” will bring three St. Louis-area teens and one adult mental health professional together to share their needs, perspectives, and experiences around mental health. This panel will give children’s mental health providers and funders an opportunity to hear directly from youth about what matters most when it comes to their mental health.

The panelists include William Schreiber, a Kirkwood High School senior and member of Work2BeWell’s National Student Advisory Council; Legacy Jackson, a freshman at Cardinal Ritter College Prep and founder of Little Legacies nonprofit; Alex Zhang, a junior at Francis Howell High School and member of Asian American Civic Scholars; and Ebony Hutchinson, Executive Director of The Community Reach. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Terry Harris, co-founder of The Collective STL and executive director of The Legacy Center.
