Mindfulness, Connection and Summer Joy at the Network Picnic
On June 12, the Network hosted its second wellness event of the year, Summer BBQ: Radiate and Restore. This event allowed Network partners to focus on mindfulness, connection and summer joy.
Earnst Wills, founder of Claudie’s Urban Gardens, provided vegetable starter plants and taught attendees how to care for them at home as well as mindfulness sessions. Children and attendees were also able to enjoy games and food from Cajun Seduction.
Network members shared that they thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor setting and the intentional activities. One attendee wrote, “Absolutely loved this event and I so appreciate the hard work that went into planning it!”
