On July 23, Network Members gathered at the Network for the third session of the Nonprofit Sustainability Series, the 24-Hour Matching Campaign training. This session explored how a 24-hour fundraising campaign, with matching donors, can inspire donor participation and maximize every fundraising dollar. Through discussion and real-life examples, attendees learned how planning can help build stronger relationships with supporters while building long-term sustainability.

Topics that were discussed during the session included:

  • Securing matching gifts to increase donor impact
  • Planning and launching an engaging 24-hour fundraising campaign
  • Creating a meaningful gratitude plan that strengthens relationships with donors

Throughout the training, attendees asked questions, shared ideas and explored how these strategies could support their organizations’ fundraising efforts. Participants left with practical tools and new insights they can apply with their teams.

The session highlighted how thoughtful fundraising goes beyond reaching financial goals. Developing meaningful relationships with donors and creating opportunities for engagement and how organizations can strengthen their long-term impact.

One attendee said, “Each session has been very beneficial!”
